Traditional express couriers (DHL, FedEx, EMS) charge steep initial weight fees (over ¥150-¥200 per parcel), while merchants ship with heavy cardboard cartons and rigid shoeboxes that dramatically inflate billable volumetric weight.
DDExpress air consolidation solves this completely. Ship items from multiple Taobao, Pinduoduo, and JD sellers to our central Nanjing warehouse with 30 days of free storage. Our team inspects items, removes redundant outer cartons and shoe boxes, compresses winter clothes and bedding with vacuum sealing, and packs everything into a single compact parcel, saving an average of 25% to 35% in chargeable volume weight.
Air shipments are routed into general cargo express and sensitive goods lines. General cargo suits urgent clothes, study books, daily essentials, and digital accessories. For cherished regional treats (spicy snacks, river snail noodles, hotpot base, teas) and home emergency OTC remedies (Lianhua Qingwen, cold granules, digestive care), our dedicated DDP sensitive cargo channel provides compliant transit.
Goods must remain in intact original commercial retail packaging with clear ingredient labeling. Fresh meats, eggs, or controlled substances are strictly prohibited. Our warehouse team performs 1-on-1 compliance checks and accurate customs declarations to ensure a smooth 99%+ clearance success rate.
Service breakdown: [DDP Sensitive Air Express]: 5-7 working days reference time, duty-paid door-to-door delivery with no clearance hassle, ideal for snacks, OTC healthcare, cosmetics, and battery devices; [General Air Express]: 3-5 working days, perfect for urgent clothing, academic books, and documents; [Free Repacking Value-Add]: parcel inspection, consolidation, shoe box removal, and vacuum compression cutting 25%-35% volumetric weight.
Transit times reflect normal operating conditions, subject to flight availability, weather, and customs spot checks. Each outbound package receives a unified tracking number with live end-to-end milestone updates from departure to USPS final delivery.
US delivery addresses must follow standard postal formatting: recipient legal full name, active US phone number, Apartment/Unit number, street address, city, 2-letter state code (CA, NY, TX, WA, etc.), and a valid 5-digit ZIP Code. For dormitories or high-rise condos, include mailroom or buzzer instructions on address line 2 to prevent missed drop-offs.

FAQ highlights: ① How is chargeable weight calculated? Billing uses the greater of actual gross weight and volumetric weight (L×W×H cm / 6000), making box removal and vacuum reduction essential; ② Will I be charged US import duties? Personal effects under DDP channels include tax and clearance handling, avoiding surprise local fees; ③ Can friends group ship together? Absolutely, consolidate packages to a shared campus or apartment address to split baseline freight.
