Shoppers frequently encounter three major pitfalls when forwarding Taobao goods to Greece: First, shipping separate parcels from different shops multiplies initial first-weight fees; consolidating all orders into a single consolidated parcel at a centralized China facility dramatically lowers your average shipping cost per kilogram. Second, ignoring volumetric weight rules: airlines charge by [L×W×H(cm) ÷ 6000] if it exceeds actual weight, meaning puffy down coats and plush toys shipped in merchant boxes easily double or triple your delivery bill. Third, underestimating Greece's Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) enforcement of the 24% standard VAT (ΦΠΑ): vague cargo descriptions routinely trigger formal customs inspections and hefty clearance handling fees.
DDExpress systematically resolves these issues: our Nanjing warehouse logs every arrival with digital scales and high-definition photographs available in your user portal. Experienced packaging specialists strip out redundant outer cartons and excess filler, packing items compactly and applying industrial vacuum compression to bulky fabrics, saving customers 30% to 50% on billable shipping costs while pre-clearing all items for 100% EU customs compliance.
