As a non-EU Balkan nation, North Macedonia is not covered by Taobao Cainiao official international logistics. Direct postal parcels frequently encounter long transit delays in regional European hubs such as Vienna or Istanbul.
Third-party consolidation solves this problem: users send orders from multiple online sellers to the DDExpress Nanjing warehouse. Once all goods arrive, our team consolidates them into a single durable package and dispatches it via commercial scheduled air freight.
Import shipments into North Macedonia are subject to Customs Administration (Carinska uprava) regulations:
Commercial shipments with a value up to €22 enter free of import duties and DDV (Value Added Tax). Goods valued between €22 and €90 are exempt from customs duty but subject to 18% DDV. Consignments exceeding €90 are subject to applicable customs tariffs and 18% DDV.
DDExpress offers a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) air freight solution: duties and VAT are calculated and prepaid before departure, eliminating unexpected postal brokerage fees (€15-€25) and speeding up customs clearance.
North Macedonia experiences cold, snowy winters, generating strong demand for warm down coats, thermal apparel, and bedding sets from China.
DDExpress provides industrial vacuum compression free of charge, shrinking bulky apparel volume by up to 70% to lower volumetric shipping costs.
Commercially packaged dry pantry goods, seasonings, and personal health products can also be shipped safely via our specialized clearance channels.
